Product Information: Fully composite unmanned multifunctional aircraft SOA-2 designed for short duration short distances operative reconnaissance. Low noise was a critical requirement while designing the aircraft. Aircraft is carried and manned by team of 1 or 2 operators. Aircraft is launched „by hand“ and recovered via „belly landing“ or parachute landing. Aircraft flight time (depending on payload and mission) is in range of 60 to 180 min, while normal flight time is around 90 min. Aircraft has been designed to ensure simple transportation, ruggedness, fast assemble/disassemble, fast flight preparation. Normal payload may include: -        20 MP optical range or NIR (for determination of vegetation index NDVI) photo camera for ortophoto imaging; -        Optical 10x zoom camera in a gimbal; -        Infrared camera in a gimbal; -        Any other custom payload of mass 700-1000 g. Payload can be easily changed in the field and is suitable for all of the aircrafts of same type. Due to interchangeable payloads the aircraft can be easily customized for different monitoring applications like: agriculture, environment protection, construction, climate etc. „Follow-me“ mode can be used, when aircraft follows the moving ground station. Aircraft can be prepared for launch and launched into the mission by one man crew in no more than 5 min. The aircraft emits extremely low noise while in flight.
